R-Team M4 GT4

The R-Team BMW M4 GT4 stems from the Kilkenny Dallara LMP2. While I was designing that car for Rob, we had. number of discussions about the different racing series that we have both been driving and our driving styles and we shared so many of the same philosophies. Neither of us had ever tried an endurance race or team event, so when iRacing announced the 4 Hours of Charlotte, benefitting the National MS Society we figured we would give it a try. Of course, I had to design a special livery for the event.

We had a blast, finishing 13th overall of 37 cars and 9th in the GT4 class. More importantly, the event was an overwhelming success, smashing the initial goal of raising $25,000 and then surpassing the extended goal of $48,000 for a final total of more than $56,000.
